How can childhood be defined? Certainly, not by age alone. There’s more to it. And that’s why there’s a nursery rhyme song for everything kids. Everything children do, is captured by one rhyme or the other. Take friendships. That is an age when friendships are easily formed and broken even more easily. Two toddlers doing the same thing, “Let’s be friends? Best friends!” Two kids and one not liking what the other does, “I’m not talking to you.” And for friendship, there’s a baby song called Rig A Jig Jig. It narrates how time is spent when two babies meet; dancing, jumping and having fun all day long. Preschool teachers can use such songs during activity to help toddlers get along well with each other; forming their own, new fresh dance routines in class everyday between two or more pupils.
